About Project

This is my Diploma work

I finished and presented my diploma work in front of commission at 2nd October 2019. This was the last step of my journey as Computer Science engineer bachelor at Technical University of Sofia, branch Plovdiv.

The process of developing the application gave me a lot of experience cause everything is done by me from scratch – database development, client-side application and server-side application. It was a new thing for me and it was very interesting, a little hard job at times, but as you can see the final result is quite good.

I have learned some new things about the whole process of how Web Applications work. Also, I gained experience in writing client-side – with HTML, CSS and JavaScript languages, as well as writing server-side – I chose C#. And I have designed my own database with all tables and procedures for storing and retrieving the data. Note that the application is in my native language but as you can consider it is based on our local university.

It was a lot of fun because I had to learn many new things because my main knowledge was in the database. I read a lot of information and tested it until I got the results I want. It took me about 6 months to build it from scratch and to organize all the documentation of it. It was a good experience.

This work gave me knowledge of some solutions to real-life problems. Of course, there is a lot more to explore…

I have the idea for further developing the project but only the time will show if I will do it or I will start entire new projects.
